Privacy Policy
TimeWorth is a free calculator at https://timeworth.org/. It turns monthly income and fixed expenses into a net rate, and it can show a forecast from those figures. You do not need an account. This policy explains what the site does with information.
1. Who operates the site
The site is published under the name TimeWorth. This page does not give a personal name, home address, or personal email address.
2. Information you can enter
You can enter a birth date, monthly active income, monthly passive income, monthly fixed expenses, work days, shift start and end, a currency, a time zone, a savings goal, and a 24-hour clock preference. The site does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
3. Calculations stay in the browser
The rate, the hour figure, and the forecast are calculated in your browser. TimeWorth has no application server that receives those figures, and there is no account to update or delete. If you choose to remember them, the browser sends that cookie with later requests for this site. Amazon can see the request. TimeWorth has no service that reads the cookie.
4. Saving calculator figures
The figures stay on the page for the visit unless you turn on “Remember these figures on this browser”. That choice is optional. The calculator works if you leave it off.
Turning the option off, or using Reset in the calculator settings, deletes the saved figures from this browser. You can also clear cookies for this site in your browser.
Where the GDPR applies, turning the option on is your consent to store those figures (Article 6(1)(a)). The same choice is the permission for these optional cookies. It is not consent to advertising, analytics, or any other cookie.
5. Cookies
The calculator can set the cookies below. The page has to read them, so they are not HttpOnly. Each uses Path=/ and SameSite=Lax. Secure is added on HTTPS, which is how timeworth.org is served. The site does not use localStorage or sessionStorage.
| Cookie | What it stores | When it is set | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|
pol_calc |
The calculator figures listed above, including the birth date and amounts | Only if you choose to remember them | 30 days, or until you turn remembering off, use Reset, or clear site cookies |
pol_save |
That you asked the browser to remember those figures. No amounts and no birth date | Together with pol_calc |
30 days, cleared with pol_calc |
pol_lang |
A language id, such as de |
When you pick a language | 180 days, or until you change it or clear site cookies |
Saving figures and remembering a language are optional. This page does not set these cookies. Where the GDPR applies, TimeWorth relies on your language selection as consent to store that language id (Article 6(1)(a)). That selection is also the permission for this cookie. English and Russian can be opened from the page address without it. The language menu is not the advertising choice.
If a browser still has an older cookie named pol_consent or pol_reward_until, the calculator deletes it. The site does not use those cookies, and it does not offer a rewarded video.
Google may set its own cookies when it serves ads or shows a privacy message. Those cookies are described in Google’s cookie policy. TimeWorth does not copy them into pol_calc, pol_save, or pol_lang.
6. Advertising
The calculator loads one Google AdSense script for publisher ca-pub-3925180303910409. ads.txt names Google as the seller for that publisher account.
Three display ads can appear with the calculator. On a narrow screen, one is above it and two follow it. On a wide screen, the three sit in a column beside it. They resize with the page. Auto ads are not turned on. A placement is not requested while its container has no size, and the same placement is not started twice.
The forecast, including the chart, is available without watching an advertisement. There is no rewarded video.
Google may receive technical data such as an IP address and browser information, and may use cookies or similar identifiers, as described in Google’s advertising technologies policy and Google’s privacy policy.
No Google Analytics measurement id is configured, so that analytics tag is not loaded. If an id is configured later, the tag loads only when Google reports that analytics storage is allowed. A missing or denied signal does not load it. Where the GDPR applies, that allowance would be consent for the analytics tag (Article 6(1)(a)). Events are limited to a language id and the calculator name. Income, birth date, and the other figures are not included.
If an ad blocker stops Google’s script, the calculator still works. Ads and Google’s privacy links may be missing.
7. European privacy choices
TimeWorth does not show its own advertising permission banner and does not store an advertising choice in its own cookie. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland see the European regulations message published in the AdSense account. Google’s AdSense tag serves that message.
The footer control “Privacy and cookie settings” reopens Google’s European message so you can change that choice. It does not open the US opt-out dialog, and it does not write a choice into a TimeWorth cookie. If Google’s script is blocked or has not loaded, the control reports that and leaves the choice unchanged.
AdSense can also add its own link to change the European choice on pages where its tag runs.
Accepting the European message is consent for advertising cookies, and, where the GDPR applies, it is the legal basis for the personalized advertising that choice allows (Article 6(1)(a)). Rejecting it is not treated as consent. The message does not decide the basis for delivering the page, which is described in section 10. Publishing the message is not, by itself, a statement that every GDPR duty is met.
8. US State Privacy Rights
US state privacy choices are separate from the European message. Where Google’s US state regulations message applies, Google shows a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on the calculator. That link opens Google’s opt-out dialog. Choosing Opt out is recorded by Google. TimeWorth does not replace that link and does not store its own opt-out cookie.
Which visitors see that link is decided by the geographic targeting in the AdSense account. The site does not choose the country and does not change an opt-out Google has recorded.
“Privacy and cookie settings” in the calculator footer reopens the European message only. It does not submit a US opt-out. A publisher-built replacement for Google’s link is documented for Google Ad Manager, not for this AdSense site, so this site does not add one.
9. Changing an advertising choice
To change a European choice, use “Privacy and cookie settings” in the calculator footer, or the link Google adds on pages where the AdSense tag runs. To opt out under a US state law, use the Do Not Sell or Share link Google shows, described in section 8. If an ad blocker stops Google’s script, those controls are not available from this site, and the site does not save a substitute choice.
Watching or skipping an advertisement is not a privacy choice. The site does not treat a calculator action as consent.
10. Hosting
The public site is static files stored in Amazon S3 and delivered through Amazon CloudFront. A request can include an IP address and ordinary browser headers. Amazon processes that technical data to serve the files. TimeWorth does not keep its own copy of those logs and does not set a retention period for Amazon’s logs.
Where the GDPR applies, the basis for that delivery is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): sending the page you requested. It does not depend on the advertising choice or on the choice to remember calculator figures.
11. International transfers
Amazon S3 stores the site files and Amazon CloudFront delivers them. Google processes data when AdSense runs. Google Analytics is not loaded. No other third-party service is embedded in the site. These companies may process technical and advertising data outside your country. Their privacy notices describe that processing. This page does not name a transfer safeguard, because no such safeguard is recorded for this site.
12. How long information stays
Remembered calculator figures and the remember flag last 30 days. A language choice lasts 180 days. After you delete those cookies, TimeWorth has no server copy of them.
How long Amazon keeps connection logs, and how long Google keeps advertising data, is set by Amazon and Google.
13. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, to restrict or object to some processing, to receive a portable copy where the law gives that right, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Where a US state privacy law applies, you may have the rights that law describes, including a right to opt out of sale or sharing. This page does not decide which rights apply to you.
For calculator figures stored in this browser, use Reset or your browser’s cookie settings. For advertising choices, use the controls in sections 7 and 8. For data Google holds, use the controls in Google’s privacy policy.
14. Children
TimeWorth is a general income calculator. It is not offered as a service for children, and it does not ask you to confirm your age. The birth date is a calculator input. It is stored only if you choose to remember the figures.
15. Security
The public site is served over HTTPS. Remembered figures sit in cookies the page can read. Anyone who can use that browser profile can read them. Do not leave figures you care about on a shared computer.
16. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new text will be posted at https://timeworth.org/privacy-policy with a new “Last updated” date. The site does not email visitors about changes, because it does not collect email addresses.
17. Contact
This page does not publish a personal email address. To delete calculator figures stored in this browser, use Reset or clear cookies for timeworth.org. To change an advertising choice, use the controls in sections 7 and 8.
